Scruffys Irish Pub in Karlsruhe, Germany is one of the friendliest places in the world. That’s the story!
Owner Paul „Scruffy“ Burke plays host to regular live music (plugged and unplugged), and there’s never a shortage of mischief, mayhem and melodies at the bar.
Established in 1999, the pub is home of Irish Folk Rock band The Krusty Moors, as well as countless revellers and reprobates. There’s never a dull moment in Scruffys.
Monday night is student „nite“, with reduced prices for weary scholars. Scruffys hosts an Open Stage Night on Tuesdays with Kiwi Keith, The Krusty Moors unplugged on Wednesdays and regular gigs from touring bands.
Charlotte’s Pub Quiz is on Thursdays and the Music Quiz is on Sundays. There’s something happening in Scruffys every night, and it’s usually quite loud.
Scruffys is also home of Karlsruhe’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade (together with our good friends at Flynn’s Inn since 2004).
In Scruffys there are no strangers, only friends you haven’t yet met! If you can’t make friends in Scruffys, there might be something wrong with you.
